Little did I know that for a month prior to my birthday, some of my friends had been planning a surprise party for me.
And BOY, oh BOY, was I SURPRISED!!!
Yes, I turned 32. An age that I couldn't possibly fathom ever turning, when I was a kid. Ha!
Came with streamers and everything. I was supposedly dropping my friends off at a hotel they were staying at, but when I came out of the bathroom, all the lights were turned off and out comes a birthday cake with candles and a big "SURPRISE!!!". That was a shocker, but then they told me "we're all staying here tonight!"HOLY COWS!!
We all spent like an hour laughing like crazy, 'cause they were telling me all the tedious steps they took to try to keep it all a secret. It was the best party ever!!! Of course, I had just cracked my rib a few days earlier, so all the laughing was rather painful, but it was worth it.
The next day, had I not cracked my rib, they were planning on going to do karaoke, billiards, and something else. Billiards was the one thing I could handle, so off we went. Had a blast, yet again.The place had an arcade, pool tables, karaoke boxes, and a bowling alley.
